MicroLAB is a perfect system for the professional production, archiving and communication of photographs, which can be easily customized to the user’s exact requirements.The development of microLAB started in the year 2000 and in 2005 the microLAB equipment, developed by the Fomei company, was awarded the Interkamera GOLDEN OBJECTIVE prize for an innovative technological solution.
At present, microLAB is a comprehensive production system both for amateur and professional photography. The entire system is designed to enable the combination of all SW and HW components without limits. This provides not only the possibility to assemble an absolute 100% solution for every individual requirement, but also enables extension of the capacity and offered services of the set, virtually without limitation. The modularity of the system is also a criterion on the economic side of the investment. The user has the possibility to “adapt” the set exactly according to the situation of the shop. Together with low prices of outputs, the equipment gives the operator the chance to achieve the best business results.
The versatility of the equipment is documented by the fact that in one workplace, you can produce classic photographs, photo books, calendars and photo canvases, archive all the production and receive orders from separate workplaces.
The microLAB solution is suitable for shops of all sizes, professional studios and photographers working in the field; it can also be used as a peripheral for the “wet” digital minilab or as a selfservice photo kiosk. Depending on the specifications of the microLAB set it is possible to produce all production photo formats from 9 x 13 to 40 x 60 cm, including panoramas, ID photographs and photosets.
Uncompromised high-quality photographs are ensured not only by the top printers SINFONIA and EPSON, but also by a special interpolation method of calculation of the picture, which microLAB uses. This provides the maximum quality of the output with both small and large picture formats.
